Ukraine. Margarine production remains at a three-year high


Ukraine’s large and medium-sized crushers produced 15.7 KMT of margarine in July 2017, or 15.6% less than in the previous month (18.6 KMT), but roughly as much as in July 2016. Margarine output in January-July 2017 was up 29% year-on-year at 124.8 KMT against 96.7 KMT at the same time in 2016, reports UkrAgroConsult.

As mentioned above, restoration of margarine production is observed this season. So, it hit a three-year high in January-July. This trend is expected to persist till the end of the year.
