Ukraine. Mariupol seaport will construct grain terminal with 2 MMT capacity per year

Mariupol seaport plans to invest about UAH 800 mln in the new grain handling complex, reports UkrAgroConsult. Project capacity of the new complex – 2 MMT per year.  After construction works completion in 2019  the complex will be able to receive cargoes from two kinds of transport simultaneously: no less than 240 auto trains and up to 100  train cars per day.

According to estimates of MSP`s Director, in the nearest 20 years grain exports will increase twice to 70 MMT annually. And in Azov region export growth is already visible: in 2012 the region received 1.2 MMT, in а 2013 — 1.4 MMT, in 2014 – 2 MMT.
