Ukraine. Mayonnaise production at a minimum

As expected, the mayonnaise market witnesses a seasonal rise in this product’s output towards the end of the calendar year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

So, mayonnaise production by Ukraine’s large and medium-sized plants recovered to 11.2 KMT in October against 9.7 KMT in the previous month and 11 KMT in the same month a year ago. October 2018 featured the second highest monthly production this year.

However, overall mayonnaise production during January-October 2018 is still lower than last year (-2.6%), at 96.7 KMT against 99.3 KMT in 2017, staying at an abysmal low.

Taking into account this year’s trends, UkrAgroConsult reduces its estimate for the total annual output of mayonnaise to 123-124 KMT.
