Ukraine. Mustard producers increased output in 2016


Mustard production in the fat-and-oil sector hit a three-year high of 1.046 KMT in December 2016. It exceeded 1 KMT for the first time, UkrAgroConsult notes.

2016 appeared a make-or-break year for the Ukrainian mustard market: its two-year shrinkage was reversed. Overall mustard production reached 7.696 KMT in 2016, or up 11% from 2015 (6.939 KMT) and up 7.7% from 2014 (7.143 KMT).
