Ukraine, Norway sign Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement


The Framework Agreement on technical and financial cooperation has been signed today, October 8, between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the government of the Kingdom of Norway, First Deputy Minister for Economic Development and Trade Yulia Kovaliv has stated

“Norway has been supporting Ukraine in the international arena for a long time, and the government makes every effort to intensify bilateral economic cooperation and attract investments. The agreement, we have signed, is a powerful signal for Norwegian investors that the government of this country highly appreciates the progress of reforms Ukraine has achieved,” said Yulia Kovaliv, who is taking part in the Ukrainian-Norwegian business forum, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to her, the signing of the agreement will create organizational and legal bases for the Ukrainian-Norwegian cooperation in the sphere of attracting and using international technical assistance.
