Ukraine. Oilseeds harvest is drawing to an end


The harvest of oilseeds in Ukraine is drawing to an end. As of November 28, sunseed was harvested from 5921 Th ha (99% of the projected 5956.3 Th ha). The crop amounted to 11,886.3 KMT with a yield of 2.01 MT/ha, or down 11.5% year-on-year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

As of November 28, soybeans were harvested from 1938.9 Th ha (up 9.2% year-on-year) out of the projected 1990.5 Th ha. The soybean crop amounted to 3740 KMT with a yield of 1.93 MT/ha (down 15.7% year-on-year).

As a reminder, according to current reports, winter rape has been sown on 864.1 Th ha that is 12% above the projected 769.2 Th ha. Winter rape plantings totaled 845 Th ha last year.
