Ukraine. Over 4 MMT of soybeans harvested


Ukrainian farmers are completing sunseed harvesting, reports UkrAgroConsult. By November 21 this crop was gathered from 5839.7 Th ha or 99% of the intended area (5919.3 Th ha). That was 16.3% more than by the same time last season (5020 Th ha). Farmers obtained 13283.7 KMT of sunseed with average yield - 2.27 MT/ha, which is an all-time high for Ukraine. In 2015 farmers harvested 11086 KMT of sunseed with average yield - 2.21 MT/ha.

Soybeans have been harvested from 1747.6 Th ha, which is 95% of the intended 1837.7 Th ha. Farmers obtained 4010.4 KMT of soybeans with average yields at 2.29 MT/ha against last year’s 3745 KMT and 1.77 MT/ha, respectively.
