Ukraine planning to start wheat exports to China and Vietnam


Ukraine is planning to start wheat exports to the markets of China and Vietnam and liberalize exports to Indonesia in 2018, the Ag Ministry’s website says.

In addition, draft phytosanitary requirements for exporting Ukrainian wheat to Indonesia are to be signed in April 2018.

Ukraine supplied only barley, soybeans and corn to China and Vietnam before, reports UkrAgroConsult.

According to UkrAgroConsult, last time Ukrainian wheat was exported to Vietnam in MY 2015/16 (58.5 KMT). Regarding Ukrainian wheat shipments to China, the current 2017/18 season has seen just single cargoes totaling 2.4 KMT.
