Ukraine. Rapeseed oil production will decrease two times
In February 2017 Ukraine’s large and medium-sized crushers reduced rape oil production to 0.9 KMT – the smallest volume since the season’s beginning. It was down 35% from February 2016, when 1.4 KMT was made.
Large and medium-sized crushers in Ukraine produced a combined 64.5 KMT for the eight months of 2016/17 (July-February), or less than 50% against the same time last season.
UkrAgroConsult notes crushers set a record in the previous season, when they made roughly 149 KMT of rape oil. The 2016/17 results are expected to be at least half as high.
Further prospects of the Black Sea oilseeds/vegoils market will be discussed at the V International Conference “Black Sea Oil Trade”, which will take place on September 19, 2017 in Hilton hotel, Kiev, Ukraine.
