Ukraine reached an agreement with China to increase grain supplies


The State Food Grain Corporation of Ukraine (SFGCU) has agreed with its strategic partner – China National Complete Engineering Corporation (CCEC) – to increase grain supplies to China, the company’s website reports. The parties reached an agreement to establish a Ukrainian-Chinese interagency working group which is to elaborate a procedure of further bilateral cooperation between the corporation, reports UkrAgroConsult.

SFGCU shipped 702 KMT of grains to CCEC in MY 2016/17, or 11% more than in the previous season. The Ukrainian corporation gained UAH 297.58 Ml in net profits in January-June 2017 against a net loss of UAH 79.6 Ml incurred at the same time in 2016.
