Ukraine received EUR 100 million from Poland for transport infrastructure modernization

The Center for Transport Strategies with the reference to Polish periodical Rynek Infrastruktury reported that Polish government allocated EUR 100 million to Ukraine for transport infrastructure modernization. EUR 68 million from this amount should be directed to roads quality improvement.

It was reported that Poland provided loans to Ukraine on the basis of intergovernmental agreement on mutual assistance, reports UkrAgroConsult.

With the help of such a lending Poland plans to stimulate near-border movement, it is also expected that this will promote the development of Polish eastern regions.
