Ukraine. Soybean crushing in June was at a high level

In June 2018, soybean crushing in Ukraine remained at a record high level. So, the country’s large and medium-sized crushers produced 18.3 KMT of soybean oil that is up 1.1% from the previous month (18.1 KMT) and up almost 29% from June 2017 (14.2 KMT).

Overall soybean oil output in September-June 2017/18 also remained record high at 175 KMT against 137.7 KMT a year ago (up 27%).

Assessing this season’s trends, UkrAgroConsult raises its estimate for 2017/18 soybean oil production in Ukraine to 187-190 KMT, i.e. it is to hit a new all-time high.
