Ukraine. Soybean yield reached record level – 2.16 MT/ha


Ukrainian farmers continue to harvest sunflower. By October, 10 4457.9 Th ha had been threshed or 75% of the plan (5916.2 Th ha), which was 1.7% lower than last year - 4537 Th ha. 9718.5 KMT had been obtained with average productivity – 2.18 MT/ha. Last year by the same date 9624 KMT had been gathered with average productivity – 2.12 MT/ha.

Soybeans had been gathered from 1220.4 Th ha, which was 66% from the forecasted 1837 Th ha. 2637.5 KMT obtained with average productivity – 2.16 MT/ha, in line with record productivity of 2014/15 (2.16 MT/ha). Last year by the same date soybean had been gathered from 1594 Th ha, 2751 KMT obtained with productivity – 1.73 MT/ha.
