Ukraine. Sunflower productivity remains record high

Ukrainian farmers continue to harvest sunflower, reports UkrAgroConsult. By October, 24 5171.1 Th ha had been threshed, or 87% of the intended area – 5916.2 Th ha, which was 6.5% higher than last year - 4856 Th ha. 11341.3 KMT had been obtained with average yields – 2.19 MT/ha, which is all-time high for Ukraine. By the same date last year 10302 KMT had been harvested with yields – 2.12 MT / ha.

Soybean had been threshed from 1480.5 Th ha (81% of the forecasted 1837.1 Th ha). 3210 KMT obtained with yield – 2.17 MT / ha. Current yield is higher than in 2014/15 MY – 2.16 MT / ha. Last year soybean had been threshed from 1916 Th ha and 3257 KMT obtained with yield - 1.7 MT / ha, informs UkrAgroConsult.
