Ukraine. Sunseed inventories up 45% from last year


According to current information of the State Statistics Service, sunseed inventories in Ukraine totaled 3881.3 KMT as of April 1, 2017 that is 45% more than at the same time last year (2678.6 KMT). Out of this volume, growers held 2084.4 KMT (+673.4% year-on-year), while storage and crushing facilities accounted for 1796.9 KMT (+529.3%), reports UkrAgroConsult.

As of April 1, 2017, crusher stocks of soybeans were up almost 28% at 438.3 KMT (342.8 KMT as of April 1, 2016). At the same time, rapeseed stocks were down 34% at 63.3 KMT (95.8 KMT as of April 1, 2016).
