Ukraine. Two groats mills launched in Khmelnytsky region

Khmelnytsk Mlyn Group has put into operation two groats mills in Khmelnytsky region, Agro-Simo-Mashbud reports.

So, it has constructed a buckwheat processing mill with a daily capacity of 110-120 MT and an universal mill with a daily capacity of 24-26 MT. The latter will produce various cereal flakes (instant flakes requiring no boiling) and bulgur groats, reports UkrAgroConsult.

The wheat and rye grown by the company are effectively processed at milling facilities. Other crops (barley, soybeans, buckwheat) were successfully sold to international traders prior to 2016. However, in view of the company’s production expansion strategy, it was decided in 2016 to sign a contract with Scientific-Industrial Corporation Agro-Simo-Mashbud on the construction of two groats mills, which will make it possible to process the entire crop of groats.
