Ukraine. Vegetable oils handling sets an absolute record


According to the State Enterprise "Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority", during January-November 2017, grain handling for exports in seaports of the country increased 3.9%, compared to the same period last year to 36.2 MMT against 34.8 MMT. In December 2016, grain handling reached record high 4.4 MMT, which is unlikely to be broken this year.

During January-November 2017, handling of vegetable oils in the country's seaports increased 23.2%, compared to the same period last year to 4.8 MMT against 3.9 MMT. In November, 384 KMT of vegetable oils were handled by Ukraine's seaports for export, which was 13.7% less than the previous month. In 2017 handling of vegetable oils has set a new all-time record.
