Ukraine. Wheat prices strengthened last week


The downward trend in Ukrainian export market changed for some price growth. Last week export wheat prices strengthened in Ukraine. The prices for 2nd grade wheat (12.5% protein) grew by USD 1 to USD 168-170/MT FOB, meanwhile 3rd grade wheat prices (11.5% protein) reached USD 161-164/MT FOB for October delivery. Some recovery of importers’ demand for October-November was observed in the market. Demand prices of Ukrainian milling wheat also strengthened.

Even more significant growth was observed in Ukrainian feed wheat market. Last week export feed wheat prices increased by USD 3-4 to USD 156-160/MT FOB (October-November delivery).
