Ukraine will be able to export 60% more duty-free grain to the EU

The European Union has confirmed the entry into force of additional trade preferences for Ukraine from October 1. These preferences, in particular, provide for additional quotas for duty-free deliveries of Ukrainian grain to the EU market.

So, by this decision, the European Union granted Ukraine additional annual quotas for duty-free supplies of wheat (65 KMT), barley (325 KMT) and corn (625 KMT).

Thus, in 2018, Ukraine will be able to export duty-free to the EU 1.075 MMT of corn (450 KMT was for 2017), 1.025 MMT of wheat (960 KMT) and 595 KMT of barley (270 KMT), reports UkrAgroConsult.
