Ukraine. Yuzhny seaport to allocate UAH 3 billion for new projects in 2018


In 2018 investments for new infrastructure projects in Yuzhny seaport may reach UAH 3 billion. "Infrastructure projects in the next year: the first one – to finish the project with Cargill, and continue to implement the project for reconstruction of maritime approach channel. We are also considering the start of operational water area construction for berth # 10, because the group "Berths of the Comintern" signed a memorandum with the USPA on the berth project development", said the head of administration of Yuzhny seaport, Maxim Shyrokov.

The head of the port administration specified that the amount of capital investments in the reconstruction of berths # 5-8 would reach UAH 2.5-3 billion, and up to UAH 150 million - in construction of operational water area of berth # 10. He added that in 2017 cargo turnover of seaport Yuzhny will reach 41-42 MMT, reports UkrAgroConsult.
