Ukrainian exports of pork fell by almost 11 times in the last year


In 2016, the country has supplied to foreign markets pork at $5.1 million, which is 10.7 times less than in 2015 — $54.6 million, from the data of GFS

Pork imports in 2015 was $8 million, which is almost 2 times more than in 2016 ($4.2 million).

Key importers of domestic pork last year, became Georgia (50,2%), Armenia (18.2%) and Hong Kong (15.7 per cent). The main suppliers of pork to Ukraine for 2016 were Germany (51.8 per cent), Netherlands (17.7 per cent) and Poland (17,5%).
