Ukrainian farmers harvested 8% of corn to date

As of September 26, the corn harvest was already under way in all regions of Ukraine. Farmers harvested corn from 375 Th ha by the reporting date (642 Th ha in the same period in 2016). They got 1575 KMT (3174 KMT) with an average yield of 4.20 MT/ha (4.94 MT/ha), reports UkrAgroConsult.

Also, farmers continue harvesting buckwheat and millet. As of September 26, buckwheat was harvested from 125 Th ha (69% of the plan) with a crop of 143 KMT and an average yield of 1.14 MT/ha. It was harvested from 131 Th ha at the same time last year, with a crop of 166 KMT and a yield of 1.26 MT/ha. Simultaneously, growers harvested millet from 47 Th ha (83%) with a 68 KMT crop and a 1.46 MT/ha average yield. In 2016, 175 KMT was harvested from 96 Th ha with a yield of 1.82 MT/ha.

In total, cereals and pulses were harvested from 10268 Th ha with a crop of 39394 KMT and an average yield of 3.84 MT/ha (41955 KMT and 3.96 MT/ha, respectively, in 2016).
