Ukrainian flour production down 4.8% in 2016

Flour production in Ukraine continued falling in December 2016. It was down 4.8% year-on-year in 2016. About 1.939 MMT of flour was produced from January till December against 2.037 MMT in the same period last year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

At the same time, production of bread and bakery items similarly dropped by 7.1% in 2016 – to 1122.6 KMT, while pasta production was down 5.2% year-on-year at 83.8 KMT.
