Ukrainian logistics: new grain terminal in Nikolayev region, new river silos in Poltava region


Eurovneshtorg completes first phase of grain terminal in Olvia port

The first stage of terminal specializing in handling agricultural commodities was put into operation in the seaport of Olvia (Nikolayev region). The first phase of construction under the project has been completed, namely the construction of 4 silos with a capacity of 6.5 KMT each, while the construction of a warehouse continues.

With the full implementation of the project, the terminal of the company Evrovneshtorg will be able to handle up to 4 MMT of cargo per year, the throughput will reach 300 trucks and 200 rail cars per day, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Nibulon to increase capacity of river silo in Poltava region

Additional bins for storing grain, pulses and oilseeds are being constructed in the territory of branch "Kremenchugskiy" (Poltava region) of the "NIBULON” Company. Overall volume of additional containers is 20 KMT. In addition, a new truck unloader will be installed on the elevator.

Completion of construction and commissioning of facilities is scheduled for August 01, 2018. As a result, the total storage volume of agricultural commodities at "Kremenchugskiy" branch will exceed 90 KMT, reports UkrAgroConsult.
