Ukraine’s large and medium-sized producers made 19 KMT of margarine in November 2016 that is up 2.7% from October (18.5 KMT) but down more than 25% from November 2015, reports UkrAgroConsult. 164 KMT of margarine was produced in Ukraine in 2016 (January-November) against 196 KMT at the same time last year.

The greatest output of this product for the same eleven months was registered in 2010 – over 328 KMT.

12.4 KMT of mayonnaise was produced in Ukraine in November 2016, i.e. 1.6 KMT (almost 15%) more than last month (10.8 KMT) and 0.5 KMT (4%) more than in November 2015 (11.9 KMT). Fat-and-oil plants made 112.2 KMT of mayonnaise in 2016 against 112.7 KMT in the same period last year – the decrease is less than 0.5%. The fat-and-oil industry gradually regains its lost positions in the mayonnaise market, UkrAgroConsult notes.
