Ukrainian margarine production gained 2.2% in October


Ukraine’s major and medium-sized producers made 18.5 KMT of margarine in October 2016, i.e. 2.2% more than in the previous month (18.1 KMT), reports UkrAgroConsult. At the same time, this volume is down more than 30% from October 2015. Noteworthy is that October was the most productive month in 2015, when margarine output reached 26.8 KMT.

According to UkrAgroConsult data, 145 KMT of margarine was produced in Ukraine in the first ten months of 2016 (January-October) against 171.9 KMT at the same time last year. As a reminder, the all-time highest volume of its production (over 290 KMT) was registered in 2010.
