Ukrainian milling wheat export and domestic prices grew last week

Both export and domestic grain prices showed growth last week, reports UkrAgroConsult. Export wheat prices gained USD 1-2 supported by global trends and seasonal complications in sea ports. An announcement of ice campaign usually causes some increase in grain handling costs (although insignificant). Moreover, Ukrainian hryvnia fluctuated and traders continued to buy grain actively last week.

The prices for 2nd grade wheat (12.5% protein) strengthened to USD 183-185/MT FOB, January-February delivery.

Domestic milling wheat prices gained on average UAH 50 towards the weekend.
