Ukrainian milling wheat prices were supported by strong demand during last week

The export market of Ukrainian milling wheat featured stable prices during the last week, despite downward trends in global wheat prices. Similarly, the domestic market closed the week unchanged, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Wheat prices were supported by strong demand both in the domestic and export markets. Ukrainian wheat in the export market has already switched the focus from India to Egypt. In March the latter country purchased more Ukrainian wheat than usual. This fact offset a possible restoration of India’s wheat import duty and closure of this market for the current season.
