Ukrainian wheat export market was featured by downward trend

A downward price trend was seen in the export market of Ukrainian wheat last week. Prices for 12.5%-protein wheat closed the week down USD 1/MT and those for 11.5%-protein wheat closed it down USD 0.5/MT, December-January delivery. The above prices were pressured by the further downturn in the global wheat market and weakening foreign demand, reports UkrAgroConsult.

At the same time, the feed wheat market situation remained stable. Unlike milling wheat, feed wheat was still supported by demand from buyers.

In the domestic market, milling wheat demand prices remained within the previous week’s range, while feed wheat prices increased slightly. Wheat prices were supported by the ongoing national currency weakening against the US dollar.
