Ukrainian wheat prices remained mostly stable last week

Last week the export market of Ukrainian wheat was mostly stable. Export prices for 12.5%-protein wheat and feed wheat remained at the previous week’s levels, December-January delivery. A slight downward adjustment happened in 11.5%-protein wheat for December-January delivery. The November pace of wheat exports from Ukraine is as fast as last year. Ukrainian wheat remains in keen demand from Egypt, Indonesia and Bangladesh, reports UkrAgroConsult.

At the same time, a change in the downward price trend is seen in the domestic market. Domestic prices for cereals in Ukraine went up toward the weekend under the impact of the currency factor. A decline in the hryvnia exchange rate against the US dollar gave place to its growth (up 1.5% over the week).
