USDA raised its forecast for oilseed production in Russia


In its August report, the USDA raised the 2017/18 oilseed production forecasts for the Black Sea countries at the expense of a larger crop in Russia. So, Russian farmers are expected to harvest 11,500 KMT sunseed (up 500 KMT year-on-year), 3900 KMT of soybeans (up 600 KMT), and 1150 KMT of rapeseed (up 50 KMT), reports UkrAgroConsult.

The 2016/17 oilseed crop estimates for the Black Sea region were left unchanged.
