USDA reduced its forecast for 2017 Black Sea corn production once again


In the November report, the USDA revised again its estimates for Black Sea corn production and exports in the 2017/18 season, reports UkrAgroConsult.

So, the forecast for production of Ukrainian corn was decreased by 2 MMT to 25 MMT, and that for its exports was cut by 1 MMT to 20.5 MMT. The 2017/18 corn production estimate for Russia was lowered by another 300 KMT to 15 MMT.

At the same time, the wheat production forecast for Russia in the USDA’s November report was increased by another 1 MMT to 83 MMT.
