Venezuela Receives Wheat From Russia

Venezuela has increased its wheat reserves after receiving about 60,000 tons of this product from Russia, an official source announced today.

Two vessels loaded with wheat arrived in Puerto Cabello, Carabobo state, yesterday, as part of the agreements signed this year between President Nicolas Maduro and his peer, Vladimir Putin, to strengthen the attention to the needs of the Venezuelan people.

The information was disclosed by Vice President for Economic Area, Wilmar Castro Soteldo, through his Instagram account.

This is the second shipment arriving in Venezuela. The first vessel with 30,000 tons shipment of Russian wheat arrived in Venezuela in September.
