ViОil plants reached maximum oilseed crushing in MY 2016/17

The crushing facilities of the ViОil Industrial Group – the Vinnytsya and Chernivtsi fat-and-oil plants – reached their maximum design capacity in MY 2016/17. The plants processed 970 KMT of oilseeds over the season, reports UkrAgroConsult.

According to ViОil, its crushing facilities are outfitted with equipment capable of working on all oilseeds. Apart from sunseed, soybeans and rapeseed, the company also processed linseed this year. ViОil exported its finished products to 55 countries.

“Our vegoil is bought in Africa, Asia, America, - ViOil Group business director Ihor Gadomsky poins out. In the new season, we’ll continue expanding crushing to reach our target of 1 MMT of oilseeds a year. Sunseed will still be the main oilseed, while rapeseed and soybeans will be processed the company in the off-season. Thus, our capacities will be utilized throughout the year.”

As a reminder, ViОil is one of Ukraine’s top three vegoil producers and the leading rape oil maker.
