
Wheat exports from Russia exceeded 30 MMT

According to current data of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, roughly 39.2 MMT of grain was exported in MY 2017/18 by March 28 that is 40% more than at the same time last season (28 MMT).
This included 30.6 MMT of wheat (up 41% on the year) and 4.4 MMT of barley (double the volume shipped abroad a year ago), reports UkrAgroConsult.
At the same time, corn exports totaled 3.9 MMT, i.e. as much as a year ago.
Exports of other crops amounted to 259 KMT that is up 40% year-on-year.
