Wilmar’s crushing facilities to appear in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan lately increasingly declares its agriculture development plans and taking concrete steps for their fulfillment. The nation has aimed to export up to half the production to CIS markets in three years, reports UkrAgroConsult.

To achieve this goal, work is under way for attracting investments to various agricultural projects. It is envisaged to engage at least ten trans-national companies into the processing sector for producing export goods and bringing Kazakhstan to world markets. Talks with Singapore’s Wilmar have been started now to set up a sunseed and soybean crushing plant within the framework of the above-mentioned strategy.
