World beef production will reach 61 million tons
Russia is expected to increase beef production in 2017 2%
According to the American Federation of export meat, world beef production in 2017, is expected to increase to 820 thousand tons in comparison with last year and amount to more than 61 million tonnes.
The countries that will increase the volume of meat production include South Korea (5%), Argentina (3.8 per cent), USA (3.7 per cent), Paraguay (3%), New Zealand (3%), Brazil (2%), India (2%), Canada (2%) and Russia (2%).
It is reported that beef production in Australia will decrease by 2% and will reach 2 million tons this year.
