In general the winter crop condition is favorable in Bulgaria. The snow cover is very good now 50-60 cm (in North Bulgaria is even higher) and the wheat (wherever there is snow) is safe. Winter wheat was planted 1.05 Mln ha, winter barley was planted 150 Th ha, winter oilseed rape was planted 250 Th ha and around 50% of the area failed. Spring crops (sunflower and corn) will increase due to the losses in rape.
